Wolves-Detroit game preview

Preview: The Pistons, who lost 92-90 at Milwaukee on Tuesday night, got a big victory Saturday over Utah. It ended a three-game losing streak for a team that has faced a mutiny of sorts among its players. The Pistons -- losers of 11 of 15 games before Saturday -- played with only six players Friday against Philadelphia after seven players were benched for missing the morning shootaround (only Rip Hamilton, though, didn't have an excuse). ... The Wolves won the season's first meeting, 109-99 at Target Center on Dec. 10. Kevin Love had 27 points and 18 rebounds in that one.

Player to watch: Point guard Rodney Stuckey leads the Pistons with a 15.4-points-per-game scoring average and had 28 points, five rebounds, eight assists and two steals against Utah on Saturday. ... Rookie F Greg Monroe has recorded four consecutive double-double games twice this season and is the first Pistons rookie to do it once in a season since Terry Tyler did during the 1978-79 season.

Injuries: Wolves G Martell Webster (back) was not expected to accompany the team to Detroit for the start of a three-game Eastern trip after Tuesday's 90-79 loss to the Lakers. The Pistons' Tayshaun Prince (SI joint) and Hamilton (groin) -- two of the players who didn't play vs. the 76ers -- are listed as questionable. Ben Wallace (personal matter), Jonas Jerebko (Achilles tendon) and Terrico White (foot) are listed as out.
