Wolves haven't used D-League much before

Over their franchise history the Timberwolves have had nine players assigned to the D-League, totaling 14 assignments overall, as players such as Malcolm Lee and Jonny Flynn were sent down and brought back up more than once.
Among all 30 NBA franchises, that's tied for the sixth-fewest players sent down, and it is the third-fewest assignments of any team.
The average number players sent down by an NBA franchise is 15.6, while the average number of player assignments is 49.6. The Rockets have the most players assigned to the D-League with 31, while the Thunder has the most assignments with 133.
On the current roster, Adreian Payne (20 games), Tyus Jones (six) and Shabazz Muhammed (four) are the only players the Wolves have sent to the D-League.
