Wolves-Indiana game preview

Preview: The Wolves, losers of two straight and six of their past eight, face a Pacers team that is reeling a bit as well. After a stretch in which they won four of five games, the Pacers have lost three in a row. The most recent loss came by two points at home to Sacramento. This is the second and last matchup between the two teams; Indiana won 107-103 on Nov. 13 in Indiana.

Players to watch: Wolves starters Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins were a combined 6-for-23 vs. San Antonio on Wednesday. G Zach LaVine came off the bench for 17 points Wednesday, and F/G Shabazz Muhammad scored 15 off the bench. Pacers F Paul George had 29 points and nine rebounds vs. Minnesota on Nov. 13. G Monta Ellis had 24 points and five assists.

Numbers: The Wolves have won seven of their past 10 games against Indiana at Target Center. The Pacers led by as many as 27 points Nov. 13 before the Wolves pulled within three late. The Wolves are 4-10 at home, but six of their 11 victories have come against Eastern Conference teams.

Injuries: Wolves C Nikola Pekovic (Achilles' surgery) is out. Pacers F Myles Turner (thumb) is out.
