wolves gameday

6 p.m. at Indiana • Bankers Life Fieldhouse • FSN, 830-AM

Preview: The 15-24 Pacers had won seven of 11 games before losing 93-92 at Philadelphia on Saturday. Before that, an Indiana team missing star forward Paul George all season had lost 10 of its previous 11 games, and included in that was an eight-game losing streak.

Players to watch: With Paul George out after breaking his leg last summer while playing for Team USA, the Pacers have eight players who average double-digit scoring this season. Nobody more than G George Hill's 14.2 ppg, but he's out because of a groin injury. F David West had 28 points and nine rebounds in Saturday's loss at Philadelphia. He's back after missing nearly a month to start the season because of a sprained ankle.

Injuries: An MRI on Wolves F Shabazz Muhammad's abdomen revealed an outer oblique strain; he'll be re-evaluated in two weeks, meaning he'll be fortunate to be playing before the end of the month. C Gorgui Dieng missed Monday's practice because of an illness. G Ricky Rubio (sprained ankle), C Nikola Pekovic (ankle/foot) and G Kevin Martin (wrist surgery) remain out as well, although Pekovic and Martin practiced fully Monday and could return within a week. Pacers F George (fractured tibia/fibula) is out for the season, G George Hill (groin strain) is listed out as well.
