Wolves-Philadelphia game preview

Preview: Coming off a disappointing loss to a Portland team that had won only two of its previous 11 games, the Timberwolves face a 76ers team that was tied with Brooklyn for the worst record in the league entering Monday. The Wolves lost another double-figure lead vs. Portland, dropping them to 9-11 in games when they build a lead of 10 points or more. The 76ers ended a four-game losing streak Friday with a 124-122 victory in Denver. The Wolves have won seven of the past 10 games between the two teams, including a 110-86 victory at Target Center on Nov. 17. The 76ers are 5-14 at home this season.

Players to watch: Wolves F Andrew Wiggins scored 24 points vs. Portland, and has averaged 26.7 his past three games. Wiggins had 35 points and a career-high 10 rebounds in the Nov. 17 victory over the 76ers. F Shabazz Muhammad has totaled 34 points off the bench the past two games. 76ers C Joel Embiid leads rookies in scoring (18.9) and also averages 7.3 rebounds and 2.4 blocks. F Ersan Ilyasova is averaging 13.9 points. Both had 23 points in the victory in Denver.

Injuries: The Wolves report no injuries. G Gerald Henderson (left hip), F Richard Holmes (concussion protocol), PG Sergio Rodriguez (left ankle) and F Ben Simmons (foot) are out for Philadelphia.
