The Timberwolves have renewed an agreement with WFTC My 29 to broadcast up to 25 games of the 2012-13 season.

That means folks who don't get cable or satellite will still be able to see a number of games, something that wasn't the case last season, when FSNorth was the sole TV outlet of the team. WFTC broadcast 12 games during the 2010-11 season but none last year, meaning a number games weren't being done on FSNorth were unavailable in the market. Many of those games fell on weekend nights and caused something of a stir among fans.

"We are excited to be returning to My 29 for our over-the-air partner," Timberwolves president Chris Wright said in a release. "My 29 has proved to have a strong commitment to local programming, and continues to be a great fit for our franchise."

WFTC is a part of the FOX Television Stations group.

FSNorth will televise 50 Wolves games during the upcoming season.

All games broadcast on My 29 will be available in HD. The specific games to be broadcast will be announced at a later date.
