Looking for a baker's dozen at home

Preview: The Wolves return home after dropping to 1-10 on the road in 2018. Fortunately for them, they have won 12 in a row at home, five short of the team record set in 2003. … The Kings (17-37) have lost four of their past six games after Friday's 118-100 home loss to Portland in which Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard scored 50 points and made eight three-pointers while playing only 29 minutes over the first three quarters. Before that, the Kings beat the Bulls 104-98 on Monday, before that same Bulls team that defeated the Timberwolves 114-113 on Friday in Chicago. … The Kings are beginning a three-game trip that goes to Dallas and Houston, too. … The Wolves won the season's first meeting 119-96 at Target Center on Dec. 14. The three-game season series ends at Sacramento in two weeks.

Players to watch: Kings PG De'Aaron Fox is one of four rookies who has recorded double-doubles with at least 15 points and 10 assists in a game. The others: 76ers forward Ben Simmons, Dallas guard Dennis Smith and Lakers guard Lonzo Ball. … Sacramento veteran Vince Carter is the 10th player in league history to play at age 41. Currently the oldest active player in the league, Carter turned 41 on Jan. 26 and he celebrated two days later by becoming the oldest player to make five three-pointers in a game.

Injuries: Kings F Harry Giles (knee), F Skal Labissiere (rotator cuff) and G Frank Mason (plantar fascia tear) all are listed as out.
