Wolves update: One of the biggest questions for the Wolves headed into Sunday is health. Patrick Beverley has missed four consecutive games because of a right ankle sprain and is listed as questionable, as is fellow guard D'Angelo Russell, who missed Friday's game at Phoenix because of a left shin contusion he suffered the night before at Golden State. Jarred Vanderbilt played through a right midfoot sprain Friday against Phoenix. If neither Russell nor Beverley can go, point guard duties would likely fall to Jaylen Nowell, who made his first career start, and Anthony Edwards, who had a career-high 10 assists vs. the Suns. Over their past eight games, the Wolves have the sixth-worst defensive efficiency in the league (116.2 points allowed per 100 possessions).

Utah update: The Jazz has had the Wolves' number so far this season with three victories, including 136-104 at Target Center on Dec. 8. But Utah is dealing with injuries to two of its biggest stars, G Donovan Mitchell and C Rudy Gobert. Gobert will miss his fourth game in a row because of a left calf strain, while Mitchell, who has missed the past six games because of a concussion, is listed as questionable. Utah has lost 10 of its past 12 games and has the seventh-worst defensive efficiency over that stretch (115.8).
