Wizards on magic roll

Preview: The Wizards end a five-game Western trip seeking to go undefeated after they won at Phoenix, Denver, Sacramento and Portland. They were gifted Saturday's 125-124 overtime victory over the Blazers after Markieff Morris stepped out of bounds before he scored the winning jumper with four-tenths of a second left, but the officials didn't see it and determined it was a play that's unreviewable by video replay according to league rules. … The Wizards have won five consecutive games overall, seven of their past eight and 35 of their past 47. Their 24 victories since New Year's Day are the most in the NBA. … The Wizards won the first meeting between the teams, 112-105 at home Jan. 6.

Players to watch: The Wizards' young backcourt — All-Star John Wall and Bradley Beal — combined for 65 points in Saturday's victory. Wall's 39-point, nine-assist night ended his streak of double-double games on the road at eight. … Acquired from Brooklyn at the trade deadline, reserve forward Bojan Bogdanovic had scored 27 or more points in three of his seven games with the team.
