You can do more than cast a vote

With or without a favorite candidate or cause, you can add your voice and energy to the political process. Here are five ways to do so:

1 Go to your precinct caucus Feb. 5.

2 Volunteer with a campaign.

3 Work for one of many organizations assisting with or reacting to the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Sept. 1-4.

4 Serve as an election judge for the Sept. 9 primary or Nov. 4 general election.

5 Work with any of numerous voter- registration drives.
