On a quiet street in one of Minneapolis' most genteel neighborhoods, Trias Development and Erotas Building Corp. aim to re-create the glory of a long-gone era of sweeping staircases, Palladian-style windows and neo-classic columns with a four-unit in-fill development on Mount Curve Avenue.

Designed by Peter Stafford MacDonald and Co., the "Tudor," "Palladian" and twin-home style "Villas" are technically townhouses that will have 3,980 to 4,278 square feet, depending on the unit.

This won't be your typical in-fill development; in addition to Euro-style design details, these high-end units will have brick and stucco exteriors with reclaimed timber, cast stone and clay-tile roofs.

Inside? Exotic marbles, butler pantries and elevators. An open house will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on July 17. Budd Batterson of Edina Realty at 612-925-7783 has the listing. Or visit www.mountcurve.com.
