Two 17-year-old girls who were wanted on suspicion of stabbing and nearly killing a male in east-central Minnesota turned themselves in to authorities Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

Both teens fled the scene of the stabbing in Hinckley after the incident Wednesday, according to reports and a crime alert from the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
The male who was stabbed had life-threatening injuries, but no update on his condition was available Sunday. His identity and age has not been released.
A Facebook post from the Pine County Sheriff's Office shortly after 3 p.m. Sunday said, "The two juveniles wanted in connection with the stabbing in Hinckley have turned themselves in. Thank you to all for the information sent to us."
Republicans want to compel the absent DFL to attend House floor sessions.
