Klobuchar, Craig, Stauber re-elected; Morrison wins in Third Congressional District
Democrat Amy Klobuchar defeated Republican Royce White, winning her fourth term in the U.S. Senate. In the congressional races, Democrats Angie Craig and Ilhan Omar and Republicans Tom Emmer, Michelle Fischbach, Brad Finstad and Pete Stauber all won re-election. In the Third Congressional District, Democrat Kelly Morrison won the open seat.
Minnesotans have been casting votes for president, Congress, Legislature, judges and local offices since early voting began on Sept. 20. Polls closed at 8 p.m.
Emmer defeated Hendricks by more than 24 percentage points two years ago in the Sixth Congressional District.
