Anna Armstrong hails from a small town in California's Central Valley. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2024. Prior to joining the Star Tribune, Armstrong served as a business reporting intern at the San Luis Obispo Tribune on California's Central Coast and served as the managing editor at her collegiate newspaper, The Daily Californian. At The Daily Californian, she reported on city government, housing, higher education and local schools. When she is not busy reporting, Armstrong enjoys watching live music and taking her little Toyota Prius on roadtrips and camping trips.
