Forget about pitcher Ervin "PED" Santana; the Pohlad family's best free-agent move of the year was DJ Barb Abney for their radio station Go 96.3. Unexpectedly and unceremoniously axed by 89.3 the Current this winter, Abney brings energy, personality and likability to the revamped music station, which also carries the Twins games. Her upbeat style matches the more energetic vibe of Go 96.3. It's a pleasure to hear her robust voice and modern music on a station that has a more dynamic and forceful fidelity.
