Cabin Country: Send us your favorite stories and photos

The Star Tribune will launch a new weekly "Outdoors Weekend" section later this month.

One of the section's features will be "Cabin Country," a place for readers to share memories or contemporary stories about their beloved cabins. It's designed to capture the culture and spirit of cabin ownership in Minnesota, Wisconsin and the surrounding region.

Please submit a photo of your cabin along with a recollection in three or four paragraphs. No need to disclose the cabin's exact location. Just a sense of place. Selected stories and photos may appear in print or in an online gallery. You can also hashtag photos #STcabins on Twitter or Instagram or post images and stories to the Star Tribune Facebook wall.
