A 23-year-old woman from Cologne was killed Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Carver County, according to the State Patrol.
Ashley Meuwissen died just before 9:30 a.m. when the car she was driving north on County Road 53 was struck broadside at Hwy. 212 by a westbound truck driven by a 50-year-old man from Moscow Mills, Mo.
The other driver was not hurt. Both drivers were alone in their vehicles.
Roads were wet at the time, the patrol said.
