'50s-inspired lingerie

Retro haven Via's Vintage is giving midcentury fanatics something to get excited about. Beginning this week, they're stocking 1950s-inspired lingerie from British brand What Katie Did. The line spans the breadth of undergarments: bullet bras, girdles, waspies, ruffled panties and stockings, all in a variety of sizes that fuller-figured ladies will rejoice over. Be sure to check out Via's expanded selection of '50s-inspired dresses from Vivien of Holloway.

It's a Date!

Vintage pop-up sales have been all the rage of late. The latest comes courtesy of retro vendors two birds, Salvaged Strawberry and Scout -- apparently the only Twin Cities vintage vendor dedicated to menswear. Dig through one-of-a-kind gems, including clothing, jewelry, shoes, handbags and more, and get styled while you shop by the knowledgeable vintage peddlers. Swing by Friday's reception for a glass of wine and first dibs on the goods.
