The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel is running a promotion on its web site asking Packers fans to submit their stories on "how did you become a Packers fan?" It's typical stuff; our paper would likely do the same thing (and probably has) with the Vikings, Twins, etc.

However, the link to this story was tweeted out ... and because plenty of Minnesota folks follow Milwaukee writers for information/insight into the rival teams, a bit of chaos ensued.

To spare Tom Haudricourt from having to block any more of our dear Internet friends, we have decided to provide an alternate platform for your wit, taste and stories.

In the comments, how did you become a Packers fan? Or if you prefer, how did you become a Vikings fan?

Hopefully we can all get along in the spirit of a good rivalry.
