July 8: Man shot and killed in south Minneapolis is identified

A man shot and killed in his south Minneapolis apartment Thursday has been identified as Muhyadin Mohamud Farah.

Farah, 26, died of a gunshot wound to the chest about 2:50 a.m. in his apartment on the 3000 block of Grand Avenue S., according to the Hennepin County medical examiner's office.

The death has been ruled a homicide. No arrests have been made.
