YOGA'S ROCK STAR

It was 1970, and seemingly every other young American musician/seeker had his or her guru to follow. That was true for Jeffrey Kagel, the Long Island-born rocker who turned down a job as singer in what would become Blue Oyster Cult to move to India in search of enlightenment via a little-known saint named Neem Karoli Baba. "One Track Heart" documents Kagel's life, which includes struggles with depression and addiction, but also Kagel's emergence as kirtan chant master Krishna Das, now 66 and a Grammy-nominated recording artist who performs for devotees in yoga centers and concert halls all over the world.
