One dead in Vadnais Heights house fire, reports say

A house fire in Vadnais Heights claimed one life Thursday, according to media reports.

The call, from the home on the 700 block of Berwood Avenue, came at 12:13 p.m. Crews arriving at the scene minutes later found the home fully involved. Firefighters worked about an hour to extinguish the blaze.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was in the home.

The fire is under investigation.
