How is Heading Home Minnesota reaching its ambitious goal of ending long-term homelessness by 2010?

Click on the new website to learn about the statewide initiative's programs and accomplishments as well as how to get involved.

Heading Home Minnesota is a coordinated private and public partnership working to create 4,000 additional housing units, support services and outreach for the homeless. An interactive map gives access to websites that detail the progress of the seven regional initiatives -- Hennepin, Ramsey, Olmsted and St. Louis counties and central, southwest and southeast Minnesota.

The site includes facts and personal stories about homelessness. It also details opportunities to help by donating money, attending locally sponsored events and volunteering. For information, visit www.headinghomeminnesota.org.
