Pacific Northwest Set to Warm

Doses of sunshine will warm the Pacific Northwest early in the week as theregion comes off a few days of cool and at times rainy weather.Monday, temperatures in Portland, Ore., will take a run at the 80-degree mark.

Farther up I-5 in Washington, Seattle temperatures will top 70 degrees.

Meanwhile, readings of at least 90 degrees will creep north of the Californialine and into Medford, Ore.

Even warmer weather will spread between the coast and the Cascade Range onTuesday.
