Road to baggage claim re-opened after damage at Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport
The road to the Terminal 1 baggage claim was closed late Saturday after a truck hit and damaged an overhead sign.
“MSP Airport crews have reopened the lower-level roadway at Terminal 1. All traffic lanes are open,” the airport posted on X (formerly Twitter) before 9 a.m. Sunday morning.
On Saturday night, a truck hit an overhead sign on Terminal 1′s inbound roadway, according to an airport spokesperson, and clearing the damage required closing the lower-level roadway.
Drivers heading to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport were told to use the upper roadway to Terminal 1 for both pick-ups and drop-offs.
Republicans across the country benefited from favorable tailwinds as President-elect Donald Trump resoundingly defeated Democrat Kamala Harris. But that wasn’t the whole story in Minnesota.
