Rockets' concerns over Flynn reportedly cost Wolves second-round pick

June 26, 2011 at 5:36AM

That second-round pick the Wolves sent to Houston along with Jonny Flynn and the 20th overall pick for Brad Miller and three other picks was added Friday when Rockets doctors raised issues over Flynn's injured hip, Yahoo! Sports reported.

Flynn, the 2009 first-round draft pick who met with Houston media on Friday, had surgery last July and played only 53 games because of it.

There also appears to be an issue with a trade made with Portland for the 57th pick that the Blazers used to pick Congo forward Targuy Ngombo for the Wolves.

DraftExpress reported Friday that FIBA and Qatar documents show Ngombo was born in 1984 and not 1989. If true, he would be ineligible for the draft and a free agent instead.
