To limit the spread of the virus, on Thursday officials:

•Closed Rocori Middle School in Cold Spring through next Tuesday. That could change if more cases related to the school are found.

•Continued to repeat their guidelines for hand washing and covering coughs and sneezes to prevent transmission.

•Announced that from now on they would refer to the new virus as H1N1 novel flu because the name "swine flu" incorrectly implies that pork is a risk.

•Conducted a total of 126 tests on suspected flu specimens, with another 23 pending. No further suspect cases were found.
