Minnesota often is No. 1 in wood duck harvest, though it has been No. 2 behind Louisiana the past two years. Here are the top 10 states and their average wood duck harvest from 2001 to 2005:

1. Minnesota: 117,500

2. Louisiana: 88,490

3. Arkansas: 87,763

4. South Carolina: 77,130

5. Wisconsin: 71,839

6. North Carolina: 65,557

7. Texas: 60,253

8. Georgia: 56,632

9. Pennsylvania: 43,697

10. Iowa: 43,526
