Minnesota lawmakers have proposed a statewide ban on the industrial solvent trichloroethylene (TCE), which is still in use despite being classified as a carcinogen and developmental toxin. A ban would fall heaviest on the 80 or so entities reporting emissions to the state pollution regulators.
We respect the desire of some tipsters to remain anonymous, and have put in place ways to contact reporters and editors to ensure the communication will be private and secure.
