TV picks for April 3: 'Legion,' 'The Last O.G.,' 'Poetry in America'
St. Paul native Rachel Keller continues to firm up her credentials as a rising star in the second season of "Legion," one of the more mentally challenging adaptations from the comic-book world. Creator Noah Hawley ("Fargo") has become a force to be reckoned with.

Captain Morgan
Tracy Morgan continues to put his second lease on life to good use in "The Last O.G.," a quasi-autobiographical new sitcom about a former drug dealer trying to readjust to the outside world after 15 years behind bars. While there are plenty of laughs in the series, co-created by Oscar winner Jordan Peele, the former "Saturday Night Live" star is both touching and generous, allowing co-star Tiffany Haddish just as many outrageous moments.

Poets' corner
I'm not sure about Cynthia Nixon's bid to be governor of New York, but she would make one heck of a literary professor. In the premiere of "Poetry in America," the former "Sex and the City" star helps dissect Emily Dickinson's "I Cannot Dance Upon My Toes." Future episodes of the new series will look at work by Carl Sandburg and Langston Hughes with Profs. Shaquille O'Neal and Bono.
