Polls close in Minnesota; results rolling in
Polls are now closed in Minnesota, as the counting gets underway. Earlier in the day, election officials reported high turnout and no major problems. Among the key issues that drove turnout were women’s rights, the economy and immigration.
Minnesotans have been casting votes for president, Congress, Legislature, judges and local offices since early voting began on Sept. 20. Polls closed at 8 p.m.
Stauber, the incumbent, is up for a fourth term. Schultz is a former state legislator.
