Fishing Tournaments Anyone?

You'll find fish a bit deeper these days.

Fish are being caught in 10 to 30 feet on crawlers and leeches with blue, chart and red/white spinners. Grandpa Island (big flat), "A" Frame and Woodlawn Resort areas on Otter Tail Lake are producing the most fish.

Jigs and minnows are also working in the cabbage on Amor flats, Many Point Flats and Balmoral Flats in 5 to 8 feet of water.

Panfish and bass are very active in all area lakes.

Muskie opener was fair on West Battle Lake with a lot of fish seen on the surface. Bulldawgs and Cowgirls seemed to be lures of choice.

Want to have some fun? Then enter a local tournament! We have a few coming up in June:

* Sportsmen - July 10th

* Scott's Bait - June 15 & 16th

* Lion's on West Battle Lake - June 23rd and 24th.

Call Ken's Tackle for directions, 218-495-2895, and the latest fishing report! See your smiling face soon!
