Minneapolis sculptor Zoran Mojsilov emigrated from Yugoslavia more than 30 years ago, when it was still a country. He met a Minnesota girl in Paris, they fell in love, and he followed her home. That's the fairy-tale part of Mojsilov's life, which includes plenty of hard work and rough times, too. A macho guy, he likes to shape slabs of granite into garden monuments swagged with rock necklaces on steel chains. For his new show at Bockley Gallery, he seems to have embarked on a sentimental journey. His rough-hewn "Grandma's Magic" stands more than 5 feet tall and suggests a stew kettle swinging over a rustic campfire in the mountains of his homeland. Surely his grandma's dinners weren't as tough as the railroad-spike stew he has cooked up here.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
