'Isolated Acts' Red Eye Theater's annual showcase of local experimental dance and theater, kicks off with a selection of multidisciplinary works-in-progress this weekend.

Then Justin Jones, who's carving out his own niche as a practitioner of postmodern dance, premieres a work titled "Pinhead," a look at his past suburban dance-studio training, with pomo cohorts Sarah Baumert, Anna Marie Shogren and Dylan Skybrook (sets are by Karen Sherman) June 13-15.

The third weekend, two dynamic dancer/choreographers -- Leah Nelson and Roxane Wallace -- take the stage June 19-21 with "Techni-Colored Blues," with visuals by Ta-coumba Aiken and Douglas Ewart.

The series ends June 26-28 with three new theatrical works with sociopolitical undertones by up-and-comers Jules Weiland and Janelle Ranek, Tish Jones and Becca Barniskis.
